How to Manage Multifactor Authentication
- Navigate to https://portal.office.com and sign in with your Nucor credentials (same as computer/email).
- In the upper right-hand corner, click your profile picture (or initials) and then click View Account.
- In the left-hand pane, click Security Info.

From here, you can add or edit your sign-in methods. You can also change your default sign-in method if you have more than one sign-in method added.
- We recommend that you set your sign-in method as Phone. This will allow you to receive a text message with a code to enter to verify your identity. You can add an alternate phone as well as an office phone. You can also use the Authenticator app or set up security questions as well for backup methods.
- You can edit a sign-in method by clicking Change next to the sign-in method you want to edit. For example, if you have it set up to text you a code and you change phone numbers, you can edit the number to your new number.
- You can also change your default sign-in method by clicking Change next to your default sign-in method (or via the above step). For example, if you have it set up to text you a code, but you want it to call you instead, you can change it to do so.
